A Salesforce community event led by the Salesforce community, NorCal Dreamin’ 2019 was a huge success! We had a blast while interacting with the amazing people who turned up for this fantastic event. Pratyush Kumar, Co-founder and Director at Algoworks, along with Gilbert Warner and Parantap Srivastav, attended the event and hosted a bunch of attendees at booth no. 14.
The people behind the idea of hosting this inspiring event were some great minds from the domain of Salesforce, like Misty Jones, Rob Jacques, Naureen Hameed, Chuck Liddell, Melinda Cordell, Dee Erwin, Stephan Paquet, Mike Watson, Steven Han, and Steve Berley.
Algoworks was one of the Bronze sponsors at the event. The other sponsors participating in the event were a few big names like Guidehouse, Magentrix, Formstack, FormAssembly, Salesforce.org, LeanData, Conga, Proton Text, The Codery, R Systems, Zennify, JCloud Consulting, and Blackthorn. We had the opportunity to host a bunch of attendees at our booth, had discussions on Salesforce, and took some fun photographs too.
If we talk about the sessions, they were insightful and fun at the same time! Thursday sessions consisted of ‘Salesforce Security: 7 Most Common Mistakes’ by Pete Thurston, ‘Enabling your Sales Team through Marketing Automation’ by Clint Buechler, ‘How & Why to Switch to Salesforce Developer Experience’ by Ryan O’Sullivan, ‘3 Steps To ABM Success: Enabling Your Sales & Marketing Teams’ by Lucas Lam, and a lot more. Friday, too, was jam-packed with some more sessions. A few of them were, ‘NorCal Dreamin’ Keynote’ by Mary Scotton, ‘A Deep Dive into Native Salesforce Duplicate Management’ by Andrew Sinclair, ‘5 Steps to Salesforce DevOps Enlightenment’ by David Brooks, and ‘Project Management: Your Key to Successful Salesforce Project’ by Becky Potts. Apart from these, their were many more informational sessions that were presented by the speakers, like Katherine Boothe, Ben Ault, Eshwar Reddy, Jenh Vo, Tami Lau, Jay Carter, Steve Molis (aka SteveMo), Sarah Coulter, Brian Clark, Harshad Panchal, Charlotte King, Chris Hopper, Patrick Solum, Eric Dreshfield, Michael Comans, Pat McClellan, Manvir Sandhu, Gillian Bruce, Rebecca Saar, Michelle Regal, Susan Tobes, Sharon Liao, and Cynthia Bazin.
